Kansas City – Line Creek Trail YRE

About the walk

Line Creek Trail, one of the newer trails in the Northland area, is a walker’s jewel. The trail follows Line Creek, giving the walker views of small rapids and an occasional view of blue herons and other water birds. The trail meanders through meadows and wooded areas. Walkers may catch glimpses of different birds such as hawks and cardinals. Deer are a common sight. Area history buffs will enjoy a quick view of one of the Interurban bridges from a point on the lower trail. (Disclaimer: This bridge may be somewhat difficult to see with all of the trees leafed out.) The Clay-Platte Trackers invite you to walk this beautiful trail, enjoy nature and a great walk. New trails are completed so we can easily add 20 KM to our walk.
