About the walk
Kansas City may be small but you would never know it based on all the wonderful things to see and do. Today’s walk will take you past several monuments honoring veterans, firefighters, trail blazers and many others. The walk is on city streets and sidewalks. The 11k has several flights of stairs and small hills, making it very difficult for strollers and impossible for wheelchairs. 5k is moderate for strollers and wheelchairs.
This is a very popular area of KC. Lots of festivals so please check the below website to make sure no special events will cause route to be closed. Route will be closed Labor Day weekend for the Irish Festival.
