Liberty – Historic Town YRE

About the walk

The Liberty Town Walk will take walkers through many historic neighborhoods, near complete with restored Victorian homes, interesting landscape, and many historic churches. The walk also goes through William Jewell College, which is a historic Baptist school. William Jewell contains an old Civil War shot tower and the very up-to-date White Science Hall, complete with an observatory. The walk winds through a very old cemetery on campus and by an old Baptist Church, which was moved to the campus. The walk ends with a tour around the historic Liberty Square, complete with the Clay County Courthouse.

Walk box is located at customer service counter. You will drive approximately 2.5 miles to the actual walk start location.

Monday to Thursday: 5:30 AM to 10 PM

Friday: 5:30 AM to 9 PM

Saturday: 8 AM to 8 PM

Sunday: 9 AM to 6 PM
